In addition to improving the envi <br />ronment. the chapter and the Conterence re <br />ceive some good publiciiv from the sign <br />posted along the highway <br />Two weeks later. 1 0 chapter meml)ers met <br />at the hixne of Ms Dora Lvons to build an <br />accessibility ramp tor her wheelchair In the <br />past. Ms. Lyons mother Magnolia, had to <br />enlist the aid ol a neighbor to litt her ciaugh- <br />ter down the three steps for walks around the <br />neighl)orhocxi. Thanks to material and labor <br />cionated bv the Lake Country Chapter Ms <br />Lvons can now use the beautiful yvexxj ramp <br />leading from her front dexir to the sidewalk <br />beloyv. and she and her mother can i ome <br />and go yvithout the need of outside jsms <br />tame.
