Tie <br />adml n1 strat lon/po 11 ce/Coun:1 chambers will be iccatod in t.nree <br />smaller structures with the public works across the wetlands. <br />There have been 6 future positions figured into the proposed <br />space within the adrn1 nistrat 1 ve building. within the police <br />department there have been 2 patrol sergeants/1nvestlgators and 1 <br />clerical position added. This project represents a 25 year <br />projected plan. With the current zoning requirements. Oreno will <br />peak out at a population of about 9,0C^. This buHdlng would be <br />usable well beyond the point that it Is paid off. If the <br />building does need to be expanded beyond these positions. the <br />opportunity for expansion Is available in the attic areas. There <br />Is also *'oom for an addition. <br />The Council has stated that they want to covor all <br />future position expansions but build the smallest <br />possible. <br />poss1b 1 e <br />bui1d1ng <br />Mayor Peterson opened the meeting for public comments and <br />asked people to limit their comments to two minutes. <br />Al Peterson, 2075 Watertown Road, stated that he had a graph <br />that he would like to present which would take about 3 minutes. <br />Mayor Peterson asked that he present the graff to the Designf f m ^0 • • V ^ f ^ir • 9 w • ^ ^ ^ ^ f <br />Committee on Tuesday Instead If It ii in regard to design or size <br />as all members of the Committee would like to see the graph. <br />Mayor Peterson asked what Mr. Petersons question was. <br />basement. <br />A. Peterson asked If the stairways go to an attic. <br />Boarman explained there Is no basement. and the attic is <br />laid out for future use There really Isn't space plugged in. <br />Just mechanical equipment, less than l.000 s.f. <br />A. Peterson noted that he Just wanted to change his graph to <br />reflect the right figures. <br />Mayor Peterson noted that this meeting Is for the Council to <br />let the public know what has been done to date. She noted that <br />they want the public’s questions. they do not want the public to <br />come to the Council with proposals. <br />A. Peterson explained he Just had some comparisons. <br />6
