ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING HELD JULY 22, 1991 <br />(#18)CITY RECORDER REPLACEMENT <br />would recommend that. <br />Goetten stated that she will miss having Ten as a full-time <br />employee. She questioned whether Council could appoint her to <br />the Recording position without the need to advertise for <br />additional proposals. <br />Bernhardson stated that in the case of a contractual <br />arrangement it would not be necessary to seek additional <br />proposals. <br />It was moved by Callahan, seconded by Mayor Peterson, to <br />accept Teri Naab's resignation as Deputy Clerk, and approve her <br />employment with the City as its Recorder. Council accepts her <br />resignation with regret, but looks forward to working with Ten <br />in h<»r r#»rordina Dosition. IMPROVEMENT BONDS DEBT SERVICE FUND <br />RESOLUTION #2994 <br />It was moved by Callahan, seconded by Goetten, to adopt <br />Resolution #2994, closing the 1966-1976 G.O. Improvement Bonds <br />Debt Service Fund to the Building Capital Outlay Fund for <br />building construction and improvements. All voted aye. Motion <br />passed. <br />(#20)SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT 1991 C.D.B.G. YEAR XVII <br />RESOLUTION #2995 <br />It was moved by Callahan, seconded by Mayor Peterson, to <br />approve Resolution #2995, approving the agreement with Hennepin <br />County for the use of year XVII Community Development Block Grant <br />Funds. All voted aye. Motion passed. <br />(#21*)RESIGNATION OF JAMES GILBERT-PARK COMMISSION <br />It was moved by Goetten, seconded by Mayor Peterson, to <br />accept the resignation of Jim Gilbert as Park Commission Member <br />and to draft a letter of appreciation to be signed by the Mayor <br />and Council. Staff is authorized to advertise for and accept <br />applications to fill the vacancy. All voted aye. Motion passed. <br />(#22*)POLICE CHIEF SELECTION-7/23/91 INTERVIEWS <br />It was moved by Goetten, seconded by Mayor Peterson, to <br />accept the information presented in Mark Bernhardson's m^mo dated <br />July 12, 1991, regarding the interview meeting scheduled for July <br />23, 1991, at 3:00 p.m. All voted aye.
