MN 55323 <br />Dear Mark: <br />Recently a number of Minnesota communities have introduced and <br />heard ordinances pertaining to self-service displays of tobacco products by <br />retail stores. <br />We are the state trade association that represents retail grocery and <br />convenience stores including those in your community. While we have a <br />fundamental problem ivith any changes adversely affecting grocers in-store <br />mcrduuidising procedures, we are interested in working with local <br />governments to address community concerns <br />I respectfully request diat your office notify us of council intentions in a <br />timely manner should such an ordinance of this type be considered by your <br />dty council.
