LMCCC Jun« Minutes- -Page Two <br />Adainistrator•s Report <br />Watts reported that the FCC had passed rules on the regula­ <br />tion of cable, although the regulations would not affect the <br />LMCCC. <br />Jim Schindler's Production Report indicated 13 programs <br />produced at the Excelsior studio and seven produced by the Orono <br />atudio. Sha noted classes had begun lor the summer and <br />registration had been good. <br />Watts distributed a copy of a letter trom Minnetonka <br />Community Services indicating a rent increase for room 2t>4 to <br />S430 per month, up S30, effective July I, 1991. She also ex­ <br />plained that Minnetonka Community Services had been very helpful <br />with the installation of the air conditioner and necessary <br />electrical work. <br />Watts reported that Hughes-Seamans had notified her and <br />would not be able to attend the NFLCP conference, as indicated <br />at the May meeting. Since arrangements had been made. Watts had <br />contacted other members about going in place of Hughes-Seamans. <br />Pattrin had indicated he would attend if Olds could not, but <br />would confirm with Watta on Wednesday. <br />She reported briefly on the ITVA workshop on nonlinear <br />editing she had recently attended and thanked the Commission for <br />allowing her go, as it had been very informative. <br />Watts reported that the 199] miscellaneous-video and tape- <br />etock allocations had not been received from Tnax. She had <br />spoken to Nasarow, and he indicated he would check on it. She <br />eleo explained e problem with one of the studio cameras. She <br />indiceted that she would like to suggest the Commission begin <br />talks with Trlax about equipment replacement. <br />IV. <br />b> Trlax Charge for Non-Cable Belated Service Callo <br />Watts stated that she had not yet received a legal opinion <br />from the attorney on this setter and suggested that the item be <br />tabled until the opinion had been received. <br />Hotloti 4.ia.91.3i Wilcsek moved to table discussion of the <br />Tries charge for non-cable related service calls pending legal <br />opinion. Pattrin seconded.
