S-f'- <br />1: <br />Ir. <br />d- <br />i’l-' <br />l-T' <br />f> <br />.'t <br />i <br />\- <br />%-1 <br />July 9, 1991 <br />-N <br />eGiivO- ' <br />To: Orono Planning Commission <br />Re: 1700 Fox Street <br />Whitney and Betty MacMillan <br />To review what we have done (our contractor was not involved <br />with 1700 Fox): <br />-- We signed papers with the Fire Department to burn 1700 <br />Fox and were told all permits were filed. <br />— We had NSP remove an old transformer from thc; nouse. <br />We had Bergerson-Caswell cap the well and were told all <br />legal notifications were made. <br />— We notified the tax assessor. <br />— We notified the septic inspector <br />_ We destroyed the tennis court that had been on the <br />property for 60 years as required by the Planning <br />Commission. <br />— The building inspector toured the house twice, stw the <br />open hole several times, yet waited weeks after we closed <br />the foundation to notify us that we needed a demolition <br />permit. <br />Somewhere the system broke down and we don't feel we should <br />be the victims. There must be cooperation between the start <br />and the public.
