This
increase of 5% is at a time that the cities themselves are facing
levy limits that not increasing. In addition the other major
item is that t LMCD has increased the contribution by the
cities for Miltoil from $ 3,000 to $80,000,which is a 27%
increase, as part of a pro ram to put full reliance of the
Milfoil program on public sour es. While preliminary budget does
not indicate how these translat' to specific community allotments
but given the maximums given unc?r law to be charged Minnetonka
again maxes out ■ 'd with this Orono would max out.
Based on the inf~* 4tion Orono's contributions are as follows:
1990 - v^5,860
1991 - $29,175
1992 - $32,44L
It is anticipated that Drone's LMCD Representative will be
available for comments at ;ne June 7 '‘■h meeting to discuss this.
Significant cost items relate to in *ase in personal services
together with the undertaking of the area lakes survey study done
about every 3 or 4 years. It is anticipated that the cost of the
milfOi.1 program will rema: n the same for '92 as it has been in
-t
