■■ <br />f-' <br />!'■ <br />A RBSOLOTION GRANTING <br />A VARIANCE TO <br />MONICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.22, SUBDIVISION <br />PILE #1655 <br />WHEREAS, Elaine Pagonis (hereinafter the applicant") is <br />of the property located at 2740 Shadywood Road within the Citj <br />of Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally described as follows: <br />That part of Tract "D", Registered Land Survey No. 420, Hennepin <br />*'ounty, Minnesota lying northeasterly of the southwester1> 7.00 <br />feet, except that part lying northwesterly of a line drawn from a <br />point on the southwesterly line of said Tract "D", 21.51 feet <br />southeasterly from the most westerly corner of said Tract "D" to <br />a point on the north line of said Tract "D", 7.57 feet east from <br />the northwest corner of said Tract "D". (hereinafter "the <br />property"/; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for <br />a variance to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivision 2 to <br />persiit the construction of decks which result in hardcover in the 75- <br />250* zone of 6,448 s.f. or 26.2% where only 25% hardcover is normally <br />allowed. <br />Minnesota: <br />HOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />FINDINGS <br />1, This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1655. <br />2.The property is located in the LR-'B Single Family Lakeshore <br />Residential Zoning District. <br />3.The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on <br />June 17, 1991 and recommended approval of the proposed <br />variances based upon the following findings: <br />Applicant is currently remodeling the existing <br />residence. Such remodeling has Included additions to <br />the residence.
