RESOURCE REVIEW WETLAND INVESTIGATION SIXTH AVENUE PROPERTIES
ORONO, MN
May 24, 2024 P a g e 5 RESOURCE REVIEW The below described data was reviewed as part of the aquatic resource field delineation. A summary of each resource contained within the project area follows. NATIONAL WETLANDS INVENTORY The National Wetlands Inventory identifies one PEM1C, PEM1A, and PABH in the project area (Appendix A, Figure 2). USDA – NATURAL RESOURCES CONSERVATION SERVICE SOIL SURVEY Soil survey data for Hennepin County was obtained and reviewed prior to the delineation. Table 2 provides a list of the mapped soils in the project area. Figure 3 in Appendix A depicts USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service mapped soils within the project categorized by total percentage of hydric components. Hydric ratings descriptions were assigned using Section 3.5.1 of the Guidance for Submittal of Delineation Reports to the St. Paul District Army Corps of Engineers and Wetland Conservation Act Local Governmental Units in Minnesota, Version 2.0. Hydric soil rating descriptions include: • All hydric – All components listed for a given map unit are rated as being hydric. • Predominantly Hydric – More than 66% to less than 100% of components are hydric. • Partially Hydric – More than 33% to less than 67% of components are hydric. • Predominantly Non-Hydric – More than 0% and less than 34% of components are hydric. • Not Hydric – All components are rated as not hydric. • Unknown Hydric – At least one component is not rated so a definitive rating for the map unit cannot be made.
