Bernhardson, City Administrator <br />Date:May 31, 1991 <br />Subject: Highway 12 Corridor Study %'0 <br />>lfe <br />Attachment - <br />A) Hand Out Material From Citizens Concerned for Hwy 12 <br />ISSUE- <br />1, Update Council regarding meeting dates on the Highway 12 <br />Corridor. <br />2, Update Council on information related to elected officials <br />meeting with the Commissioner. <br />3.Deletion of routes. <br />INTRODUCTION - <br />At the Council's last meeting they were presented with <br />preliminary traffic forecasts regarding the Highway 12 Corridor <br />Study. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Issue #1 <br />Also jiscussed at that meeting was the meeting with the <br />Commissicnet. This has been set for 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 7, <br />1991 with Council Members Butler and Goetten together with myself <br />in attendance. It was indicated the invitation to the meeting <br />was limited to elected officials and staff. <br />Issue #2 <br />As for upcoming meetings, they are as follows: <br />Technical Committee - June 18, 1991, 1:00 P.M., Delano <br />Citizens Committee - June 18, 1991, 4:00 P.M., Maple Plain <br />Policy Committee - June 19, 1991, 5:00 P.M., Maple Plain <br />Issue #3. Deletion of Routes - <br />As indicated at the last meeting, the decision at the next <br />meeting was what routes, if any, could be deleted which would not <br />meet the transportation objectives. <br />:h'< ■ ■hy. <br />: i..
