Update Council on LMCD’s Comprehensive Plan. <br />INTRODUCTION - <br />At the Council’s last meeting, three Council Members were <br />appointed to the Lake Use Committee with the charge adopted for <br />the Committee. <br />DISCUSSION - <br />Issue #1 <br />The Committee had an organizational meeting on Tuesday, June <br />4, 1991 and has set a second meeting for: <br />June 18, 1991 <br />8:00 A.M. <br />Lafayette Club <br />At this meeting they will be formulating a mission statement for <br />the group with environmental protection as the overall theme. <br />Issue #2 <br />The current committee members will possibly be discussing <br />appointments of additional members of the committee at the June <br />10, 1991 Council meeting. <br />Issue #3 <br />At the May 29, 1991 meeting of the cities, general <br />philosophy documents were adopted to serve as a basis for redraft <br />(although Orono's was not formally adopted it was to be <br />considered during the redraft.)
