Motion passed. <br />(#23)PATROL OFFICER CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT <br />It was moved by Jabbour, seconded by Mayor Peterson, to <br />confirm the extension of Officer Timothy Raberts in a temporary <br />status until such time as either he or another person is <br />appointed and has commenced work in the capa.-rity of a regular <br />appointment. All voted aye. Motion passed. <br />(#26*)MUNICIPAL BOARD PROCESS <br />It was moved by Goetten, seconded by Butler, to accept the <br />information presented regarding the Municipal Board process. All <br />voted aye. Motion passed. <br />(#27*)EMPLOYMENT OF COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER <br />It was moved by Goetten, seconded by Butler, to authorize <br />Staff to hira David Joseph Goman as a part-time employee, <br />assigned to back up the Community Service Officer duties with a <br />salary not to exceed $.1,400 in 1991, or $5,100 yearly thereafter, <br />at a rate of $5,304 pnr hour with no benefits. All voted aye. <br />Motion passed. <br />(#28*)BMPLOyNENT>PARK DEPARTMENT <br />It was moved by Goetten, seconded by Butler, to authorize <br />Staff to employ John Klevann Jr., 6925 County Road 26, Maple <br />Plain, as a temporary Parks maintenance helper at an hourly rate <br />of $5.00 effective May 6, 1991. All voted aye. Motion passed. <br />(#29*)PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR-CAR ALLOWANCE <br />It was moved by Goetten, seconded by Butler, to establish a <br />mileage allowance for the Public Works Director at an amount of <br />$235.00 per month, commencing in May, 1991, in lieu of continuing <br />- 19 -
