The <br />Public Works individuals did more separation this year which <br />resulted in more metals being hauled to a scrap dealer for sale <br />rather than to the land fill where the City would have to pay to <br />dump it. There is noticable downturn in activity during the <br />first weekend, in part because of the weather and also in part <br />because surrounding communities had their clean-up day the <br />weekend before.
