Liquor Violation Review Process/Kilbo Memo <br />Dated 5/3/91 <br />ISSUE - Establishment of a review process for liquor license <br />violations . <br />INTRODUCTION - It is anticipated that within the next month or so^ <br />sta££ wili”be bringing forward to Council potential violations of a <br />liquor license in the City. In advance of that being brought <br />forward staff felt appropriate to establish a review process for <br />this and subsequent considerations. What is being proposed is a <br />method that is being used and to which our City Attorney agrees <br />is a way to better handle it than a process of just having it <br />conducted as a regular item of Council business. <br />ALTERNATIVES - <br />1. Adopt the procedure as proposed <br />2. Amend and adopt. <br />utilize procedure as has been used in the past that Council <br />consider it as a normal item of business. <br />4. Table 'or further discussion. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended after any discussion or <br />amendments that the process outlined be utilized for <br />consideration of future liquor violations. This process will be <br />more formally delineated and presented for formal adoption at <br />your next Council meeting. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by , seconded by , Council direct <br />staff to take conceptual dfrection for the^ liquor violation <br />process and present it as a formal procedure at the Council's <br />next meeting.
