RECOMMENDATION - The following are recommended on the issaes: <br />Issue II - LHCD Comprehensive Plan - Accept the information. <br />Issue 12 - Shoreland Management - <br />A. ) Intc-nal Development Process - Have a workshop scheduled for <br />introduction of the Shoreland Regulations for Council/Planning <br />Commission and interested parties and have the Lake Use Committee <br />or Subcommittee become the working group for that. <br />B. ) Review Process - It is recommended this be tabled to the June <br />meeting to determine what other cities are doing at the 5/29 <br />meeting. <br />Issue #3 - Marina Licensing - Once Michael has had an opportunity <br />to compete the si^ visits and write the memo that the Lake Use <br />Committee be established to review the issues in conjunction with <br />the marina license holders. It is further recommended that any <br />land use changes would then be applied for under land use <br />applications and proceed forward, it is further recommended that <br />any license approval is contingent upon accomplishment of the <br />land use application. <br />Issue #4 - Marina Longterm Regulation - Once the marina licensing <br />{s completed, it is recommended that the lake use committee or <br />subgroup of it, work on deciding the best alternatives for the <br />City's regulatory power on the marinas. <br />Issue #5 - Lake Use Composition - Is is recommended that the <br />composition outlined above provide a general framework for the <br />Council to appoint the committee. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by _, seconded by _, the Council accept <br />information regarding the LMCD Comprehensive Plan, work on the <br />Shoreland Regulations and that it formally establish a Lake Use <br />Committee composed of _ Councilmembers, _ Planning Commission <br />members and LMCD Representative and that they be assigned the <br />tasks of being a work group for shoreland regulations, marina <br />licensing and longterm marina use.
