DISTRICT NO. 278 <br />HELD ON APRIL 8. 1991 <br />The regular meeting of the School Board of Orono Independent School District No. <br />278 was held on Monday, April 8, 1991. <br />Present: David McKown <br />Don Anderson <br />Lucie Taylor <br />James Franklin <br />John Maresh <br />Peg Swanson <br />Thomas Mich <br />William Fenholt <br />Before action of the Board on the consent agenda items. Dr. Mich evented on <br />the recofimendations received from the search committees for the Director of <br />i^iuVn ^f^Vsl?staM ^up7rin^^ <br />expressed appreciation to Peg Swanson, Ron Gilbert, Toni Bergland. Kathy Harju <br />and Elaine Goldsmith for serving on the search committee for the Director of <br />Comaunlty Education and he expressed appreciation to Don Anderson, Lucie Baylor, <br />Uarren Nelson, Karen Orcutt and Evy Zacher for serving on ,.ie search committee <br />for the Assistant Superintendent for Business Affairs. <br />UPON MOTION by Lucie Taylor, seconded by Jim Franklin, the consent agenda was <br />approved as follows: <br />- a^epted^the resignation of Joanne Moyteke. ^schoVl*^*^* *year- <br />- approved ttie request of*"Chris Locker, speech ^«"9uage teacher at Orono <br />Primary School, for a leave of absence beginning April 1, 1991 for the <br />remainder of the 1990-91 school year; <br />- approved the request of Julia Klippert, speech language teacher at Orono <br />Middle School, for a leave of absence following her maternity disability <br />leave which would be taken at the beginning of the 1991-92 school year, <br />with her returning to her position on <br />- approved the bills as covered by vouchers 069226 through 069491 and <br />building construction bills as covered by vouchers 1304 through 1335. <br />Motion carried.
