Mr. Newman reviewed his plans for the <br /> renovation of his shoreline. Part of the improvement plan will involve the removal of the <br /> existin� deck structure along with the removal of a small shed and paved walkway along <br /> shoreline. Newman will propose a smaller deck area linking existing dock with higher <br /> elevations to access stair. The deck structure will conform to the side setback and will be <br /> reduced to approximately one-fourth of the size of the existing deck. , <br /> Newman was advised of the difficulty of obtaining variance approval for structures of this type <br /> and the need to demonstrate hardship. He noted the application should be attractive as major <br /> portions of hardcover will be removed and an ugly shed at the shoreline will be removed. <br /> Newman plans to meet the deadline for filing for the September 21st meeting of the Planning <br /> Commission.
