§ 10.61 <br />berths and^accesswlVs shallTdu^^able materUu""'^ <br />Subd. 16. Storage Prohibited. Any area allocated as a <br />required loading berth or access drive so as to comply with the <br />te?ras hereof shall not be used for the storage of goods, <br />inoperable vehicles nor be included as a part of the area necessary <br />to meet the off-street packing area. <br />Subd, 17. Required Loading Berths. Where the principal <br />use of the structure served is as listed, the miniraura number of <br />loading berths shall be as shown. <br />A, Auditoriums, Convention Hall, Public Building, <br />Ho«;oital School. Hotel, Sports Arena. At least one loading berth <br />25^feet 'in length for each building having 1,000 to 10,000 square <br />fLt of floor a\ea. For buildings having 10,000 to 100,000 square <br />feet of floor area, one additional loading berth 50 feet in length. <br />B R6tail SdlGS Grid SGrvicG Stores, Offices* At <br />least one loading berth 25 feet in length for each building having <br />6 000 square feet of floos area or mote plus one additional loading <br />berth 50 feet in length for buildings over 25,000 square feet up to <br />100,000 square feet. <br />C Manufacturing, Fabrication, Processing and <br />Warehousing. At*least one loading berth 25 feet in length for each <br />building having 3,000 square feet or fraction thereof plus one <br />loading berth 50 feet in length for each 25,000 square ..eet of <br />floor area up to 100,000 square feet plus one loading berth for <br />each 50,000 square feet of floor area o«/er the, first 100,000 square <br />feet of floor area. Thetoperator of the business shall have the <br />option to declare the length of the berths required for buildings <br />above 100,000 square feet of floor area, except that one-half or <br />more of the total number of berths required shall be 50 feet in <br />length. <br />D Other. There shall be provided adequate off- <br />street loading ’space in connection with all structures which <br />require receipt or distribution of materials by vehicles. <br />Subd. 18. Gas Stations. Motor fuel stations in all <br />districts shall be subject to the following performance standards: <br />A. Fencing. A fence, wall or landscaping of <br />acceptable design not over six feet in height or less than five <br />£eet shall be constructed along the property line when said use <br />abuts property residentially used or in an "R" District, and said <br />fence shall be adequate^ly maintained.
