r <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MINUTES FOR SEPTEMBER 28,1998 <br />(^13 Zoning Code Amendment, continued) <br />Gaffron remarked he does not see a big demand for applications of this tvpe. <br />Kelley inquired whether plumbing on the outside of a building would fall under this amendment. <br />Gaffron stated outside plumbing does not fall within this amendment. <br />Kelley inquired how wastewater plumbing is determined. <br />Gaffron stated a sink/toilct/shower unit is classified as wastewater plumbing, for instance. <br />Kelley inquired whether the amendment addresses whether the septic system can handle the <br />additional plumbing. <br />Gaffron stated that additional language could be incorporated into the amendment if the City Council <br />so desired. <br />Kelley suggested the plumbing in acccssoiy structures be limited to lots that exceed two acres in <br />size. <br />Mayor Jabbour stated he has the same concerns as Kelley. <br />Gaffron stated he understands the concerns of the City Council and language can be incorporated to <br />limit it to lots that exceed two acres in size. <br />Kelley recommended the amendment be redrafted to inelude that language and to allow the City <br />Council additional time to review the proposed amendment. <br />Mayor Jabbour stated it is the philosophy of the City Couneil to take amendments to ordinances very <br />seriously and to proceed cautiously. <br />Gaffron stated he will have the proposed language incorporated into the document. <br />(#14) #2389 DANIEL KLUTH, 2801 FOX STREET - CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT/ <br />VARIANCES <br />Daniel Kluth was present. <br />Weinberger stated the Planning Commission has recommended this application be approved contingent <br />upon approval by the City Council of the Zoning Code Amendment. <br />Weinberger stated the Applicant is proposing to install one toilet and one sink in the building <br />which will be used as a game building. <br />Kluth remarked he is planning to have the building inspected this week, noting the building will be <br />used strictly as a place for his kids to play and to house a train set.
