ORDINANCE NO. 152__, SECOND SERIES <br />AN onniNANCE amending sections 10.40, 10.44 AND 10.45 OF THE ORONO <br />ZONING CODE BY ADDING, DELETING OR AMENDING CERTAIN PERMITTTO OR <br />?S?ion S us ^ytthn the b-1 retail sales business district , the B-5 <br />BUSINESS DISTRICT AND THE B-6 HIGH>VAY <br />commercial district <br />The City Council of Orono ordains as follows: <br />Section 1. Municipal Zonine Code Section 10.40, Subdivision 3(A) is hereby ^«ded by adding <br />*e rawing use to the list of pennitted uses to the B-1 Reta.1 Sales Busutcss Dtstnct: <br />"32. Home and garden equipment rental." <br />Business District; <br />"6. Home and garden equipment rental." <br />"E. Restaurants (Class D" <br />Section 4. Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.45, Subdivision 4 is hereby deleted and the following <br />language substituted in its place: <br />"Subd. 4. Relationship with Chapter 10.53 <br />Subd. 4.1 Conditional Uses. <br />A. Within any "B-6" Highway Businew District, no smicture or land shall be used <br />for one ofxhc following uses except by conditional use permit: <br />1. Restaurants (Class I). <br />2. The follovving uses when such use includes a drive-thru condition: <br />a. Offices (business and professional). <br />b. Banks and financial institutions. <br />c. Libraries. <br />d. Motels and hotels.' <br />Section 5. Adoption and Publication. This ordinance shall be published in The Pioneer and The <br />Laker newspapers and shall become effective immediately upon publicaUon. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota on this 28tb day of October, 1996 by a <br />vote of 5 a yes and 0 nays. <br />ATTEST: <br />^nor^hv NTm^Urn.
