1 ! <br />i ! <br />M <br />Schedule Assessment Hearing <br />The next step is to conduct an assessment hearing for this project. We are proposing that this <br />hearing be held at the regularly scheduled Council meeting on August 10th at 7:00 p.m. Based <br />on the attendance and comments received at the public hearing, we are not anticipating a <br />significant attendance at this hearing to warrant a special Council meeting. <br />Pending no written objections to the assessments at the hearing, we are proposing to award the <br />construction contract after the assessment hearing; and will have a resolution prepared to award <br />the contract then. The proposed schedule is for the contractor to order equipment, to allow time <br />for delivery, with construction to start in November. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Approve resolution ordering project costs to be assessed. The proposed assessment costs include <br />a maximum commercial assessment of five units. <br />Approve resolution scheduling assessment hearing for August 10th at 7:00 p.m <br />J
