r <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MINUTES FOR MAY 26, 1998 <br />Jabbour complimented Waade for his proposed improvements this area. Waade responded that <br />he works with high-end development and sees this as a positive improvement for the area. <br />Jabbour stated that if three units had existed on this property, three should be allowed to remain. <br />Peterson commented that the duplex use was appropriate for the area. <br />Mrs. Waade noted that it would be extremely difficult to sell a single family home next to a <br />marina and lift station. <br />Peterson moved, Flint seconded, to direct staff to draft a resolution conceptually approving the <br />proposed subdivision for the property located at 3280/3290 North Shore Drive and approving the <br />conditional use permits for duplex credit and grading within 5’ of a lot line. Ayes 3, Nays 1. <br />Kelley voted against the motion. <br />Peterson asked if the applicant was still working with the marina on the berm. Waade confirmed <br />that he was. <br />(#8) #2355 DOIK^AS VAN MOORLEHEM, 4490 WATERTOWN ROAD - <br />PRELIMINARY SUBDm^ON APPROVAL <br />Tht applicant was not present. <br />Gaffron explained that the applicant has requested that review of his application be tabled to the <br />June 8 meeting. He confirmed thereflvas no pro^tn^with deadline dates. <br />/
