r <br />BRUSH AND BRANCH DISPOSAL <br />Brush and branch disposal site for the City of Orono, in cooperation with the City of <br />Long Lake, has made arrangements for Orono residents to drop off brush and <br />branches from storm-damaged trees at the old sewage plant property in Long Lake <br />(off Orono Orchard Road adjacent to Orono Oaks) north of the Orono Golf Course <br />and south of the Watertown Road/Highway 12 viaduct. Branches cannot exceed 10 <br />feet in length. The site is open from 8 a.in. to 8 p.m. on both weekdays and weekends. <br />The site will be open through Sunday, May 31. This time period may be extended if <br />necessary. If you hive any questions, please call Orono City Hall at 473-7357. <br />It is important that brush and branches dq I be placed adjacent to fire hydrants. <br />The City will no! be picking up brush and branches from private properties thai have <br />been placed at the edge of the roadway. These can be taken to the brush and branch <br />disposal site. <br />Wood chips are available at no w.3t at both the branch disposal site and at the Orono <br />Public Works facility. <br />■n
