He requested a refund <br />of any unexpended portions of the application fees. The fees collected reflected certain Special <br />Improvement Fees which would normally cover the costs of engineering review and inspections <br />during construction of roads, sewers, stormwater ponds, etc. Since the project did not go forward, <br />those related costs were not incurred. <br />Based on the attached analysis a refund of $2,040.16 would be in order. The analysis reflects the <br />fact that staff time and incurred engineering pass-through costs have been covered. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Authorize a refund of excess fees collected in relation to applications #2239/2240/2293/2294 to LGA <br />Investment Group, Inc. in the amount of $2,040.16. <br />___, to authorize a partial application fee refund <br />to LGA Investment Group, Inc. in the amount of $2,040.16.
