r <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMITTAL OF A REQUEST FOR PROJECT <br />FUNDING FOR THE 1998 URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY CONSOLIDATED POOL <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING <br />SIGNATURE OF SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY AND <br />ANY THIRD PARTY AGREEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono, through execution of a Joint Cooperation Agreement <br />with Hennepin County, is cooperating in the Urban Hennepin County Consolidated Pool <br />Community Development Block Grant Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono developed a proposal for the u^e of 1998 Urban <br />Hennepin County Consolidated Pool CDBG funds consistent with identified housing and <br />community development needs. <br />BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Orono authorizes submittal of the <br />following proposal to the Urban Hennepin County Consolidated Pool Selection Committee and <br />recommends inclusion of this proposed project in the 1998 Urban Hennepin County Community- <br />Development Block Grant Program. <br />Project <br />Navarre Housing Rehabilitation Project <br />Funding Request <br />$107,500 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLV^ED, That the City Council hereby authorizes and <br />directs the Mayor and City Administrator to execute the Subrecipient Agreement and any <br />required Third Party Agreement on behalf of the City to implement the 1998 CDBG <br />Program. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Miimesota at a regular meeting <br />held on this 9th day of March, 1998. <br />ATTEST: <br />Gabriel Jabbour, Mayor <br />Linda S.
