He asked that <br />be notified prior to the August 11 meeting if the issue can be <br />Khosrow Daivar, 1082 Loraa Linda, informed the Council he had added a screened in <br />wea on his deck md fte work was stopped by the building inspector, who infoimed him <br />e need for^ buildmg permit and a variance fi-om the average lakeshore setback <br />requirement. The screened area is complete except for painting. Daivar said his <br />property is on a peninsula. Daivar said he spoke with Van Zomeren of the need to make <br />an application for a vanance and provide a survey of the property. Daivar feels the law <br />should be changed. He indicated he feels he has a hardship regarding the screened area. <br />Jabbom informed Daivar that only the building inspector can make the determination <br />regarding the need for a building permit. <br />to foe Co^cil ^ permit cannot be waived, but if denied, it can be appealed <br />rocessis ahi^Wp°*^^^ concern with the cost of foe application. He feels the p <br />Jabbour noted foe purpose of the law and his support of it. <br />Goetten reiterated that the work was begun without obtaining a permit, and Daivar was <br />notified of his need for a variance. <br />Daivar said he did not think he needed to have a building permit. <br />* ! <br />. t
