AND <br />AUTHORIZATION OF A FIRST SUPPLEMENTAL INDENTURE AND A <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO LEASE-PURCHASE CONTRACT - RESOLUTION <br />NO. 4048 <br />Peterson moved, Goetten seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 4048 authorizing the <br />issuance and awarding of the sale of Public Facilities Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series <br />1998 to Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Paine Webber, Everen Securities; and authorizing <br />a First Supplemental Indenture and a First Amendment to Lease-Purchase Contract. <br />Vote: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Goetten moved, Peterson seconded, to adjourn the HRA meeting at 7:15 p.m.. Vote: <br />Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />RECONVENE COUNCIL MEETING <br />Mayor Jabbour reconvened the Council meeting. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />(#5) REGULAR MEETING OF MARCH 9,1998 <br />No action was required. The draft was included for Council's information. <br />PARK COMMISSION COMMENTS <br />Park Commissioner Jim White noted that the trail agreement would be presented to the <br />Hennepin Parks Board this week for approval. He reported that the OBA has requested <br />an additional night of use for baseball at Bederwood Park. The Park Commission <br />recommended denial of this request. The inventory of parks and improvements is <br />completed. Trails have been discussed as well. <br />Jabbour informed White that the Council is working on a potential park in the Navarre <br />area. He reported having spoken with Commissioner Erickson, who indicated he met <br />with the City of Long Lake to discuss trails Jabbour suggested the Park Commission <br />review this issue with the Hw>' 12 Design Committee as the design committee has <br />recommended no trail in some areas. Jabbour asked that the Commission ensure they are <br />on a parallel with City philosophy. Jabbour also indicated that he felt a recent article in <br />the Laker Newspaper reporting on a meeting discussing 'rails did not accurately reflect <br />what occurred at the meeting.
