r <br />m <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION <br />FOR AN I/I REDUCTION LOAN OR GRANT TO THE <br />METROPOLITAN COUNCIL ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES (MCES) <br />WHEREAS, the city of Orono currently experiences substantial infiltration and <br />inflow (I/I) into its sanitary sewer system; and <br />WHEREAS, Orono has initiated, in recent years, a comprehensive program to <br />reduce I/I, and <br />efforts. <br />WHEREAS, liie MCES is offering a program of loans and grants for I/I reduction <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City Council does <br />hereby authorize the submittal of an I/I reduction loan or grant application to MC^ and also does <br />hereby authorize Gregory A. Gappa, Director of Public Services, and Ronald J.
