Also enclosed <br />IS a memorandum from the office of the state auditor. <br />Although no violation of applicable statutes, rules and regulations was found, the <br />rejport offers several recommendations. The Board of Water and Soil Resources <br />will continue to work with the District, and cities, to implement these <br />recommendations. <br />It is evident that the District has made some significant changes over the past <br />^veral months. We are also aware that the District is presently in the process of <br />implementing some of the recommendations brought forth in the report. Cities <br />have been generally satisfied with the progress made by the stormwater task force <br />dealing with Rule B. <br />It is our intent to keep the momentum going and foster better working <br />relationships with the District, cities and the county. <br />Please feel free to contact Jim Haertel of my staff at 297-2906 should you wish <br />to discuss this matter further. <br />Enclosures <br />cc’s on attached page
