Oeternine any conceptual direction regarding future role cf <br />the Planning Commission. <br />INTRODUCTION - At the Council's March 25, 1991 Council meeting <br />they interviewed 3 of the 7 individuals interested in the <br />position. At the meeting Council tabled further consideration to <br />April 8th at which time at least Mr. Howard Mc^!i]lan III and Ed <br />Cohen could be available for an interview. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1. Select 2 individuals for the three year Planning Commission <br />seats beginning 1 April 1991. <br />2. Table for further dicussion. <br />3. Give concept al direction regarding the role of the Planning <br />Commission. <br />4. Table role discussion for the April <br />Commission "Breakfast" at the Art Center. <br />20 Council/Planning <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended once the Council has had an <br />opportunity to interview the others that they select 2 <br />individuals I'or the three year term and in addition give staff <br />general direction as to what changes and roles they would desire <br />for the Planning Commission. It maybe appropraite that further <br />discussion of Planning Commission roles be continued at the April <br />20th Council/Planning Commission breakfast at which Council could <br />get further input from the Planning Commission.
