She also stated that the <br />subjects of building permits, and a City newsletter may be a good <br />topic to include on the agenda. <br />Jabbour offered the suggestion of including information <br />about septic systems and the new City Septic: Inspector. <br />Mayor Peterson suggested that people may wish, to discuss the <br />City's recycling program, and that the topjc of chemical <br />fertilizers could also be addressed. Sne asked Cnarlie Kelley <br />and Maureen Bellows if either had any suggestions. <br />Kelley suggested that the residents may be interested in <br />finding out more about the City's finances and credit rating. <br />Goetten and Jabbour agreed that the City could inform <br />residents about the LMCD and the City’s relationship with them. <br />Butler suggested that information could be handed out <br />indicating the meeting schedules of th*. Planning Commission. Park <br />Commission and Council. <br />Goetten agreed with <br />to include the meeting <br />Committee meetings. <br />Sutler and thought it might be helpful <br />schedule far the variou.n Highway 12 <br />Mayor Peterson a.-iked Council which Staff member they <br />believe shou..d attend the Town Meeting. She suggested Mark <br />Bernhardson, John Gorhardson, and Jeanne Mabusth. <br />Sherokee Use asked if it is Council's intention to publish <br />the list of discussion topics in the newspaper. <br />Mayor Peterson indicat*?d that the li.st of topics v/ou .d be <br />published. <br />Sherokee stated that handouts are valuable, and suggested <br />that information pertaining to City Staff, building permits, etc. <br />could be prepared in the form of a handout, which could be given <br />to the residents attending the meeting. <br />- 21 -
