pt;'C ^ V • <br />ORONO COUNCIL HEETING HELD MARCH 11. 1991(|16)WOOOHILL COUNTRY CLUB CONTINUEDMark Gronberg commented, "If Woodhill Country Club had been <br />includsd in the sewer project that went through that area, the <br />$250,"'00 being paid by the Club wculd have been included in the <br />unit costs to the residents." <br />Mayor Peterson asked Albrecht what W’oodhill's time schedule <br />is for installing the line, if anoroved. <br />Albrecht replied, "As soon as the frost is out of the g-round <br />we would consider starting the project. <br />Butler and Goetten agreed that connecting the Club to sewer <br />is a go«od idea. Both were concernad about the project being <br />handled in a financial manner that is fair to the residents of <br />Orono. <br />/abbour asked, "Has Staff conclucad then that the cost to <br />the residents for the 1931 sewer prcject, if Woodhill had been <br />included, would have been the same, or more, than the connection <br />fees we are waiving?" <br />Bernhardson replied, "That is my opinion. Additionally, <br />there is the aspect of maintaining the line, which the City is <br />not undertaking at this point. The Club will pay a maintenance, <br />or capital depreciation, fee, which will be used to build up a <br />^•s^i^ve to replace portions of the line or lift s*’itions in the <br />future." <br />Curt Quady asked if the Club v/ould be charged for ten units <br />St $51.15/quarter to use the system. <br />Bernhardson replied, "Initially, yes. <br />asked to put a meter on their well." <br />VJoodhill will be <br />Quady stated that from what he understands, the meter would <br />not be installed for a year.
