For CDBG Year XVII, <br />WeCAN proposes to work with west Hennepin cities to develop an area-wide <br />housing strategic plan through a Joint community planning process. This <br />plan would provide policy recommendation to the participating cities and <br />other involved parties regarding the stabilization, enhancement and <br />Improvement of housing opportunities for area residents. <br />In order to continue providing our traditional services, and to help us <br />accomplish success In our new 1991 endeavors, WeCAN Is requesting 124,475 <br />from 12 cities in our service area for CDBG Year XVII. It Is our understanding this activity would not <br />be charged to HDD's 15X cap on human service block grant allocations. <br />We look forward to meeting with you Tuesday, March 12 at 3 p.m. at our <br />WeCAN offices to discuss our budget plans and our community planning <br />Initiative in greater detail.
