i- <br />1)Zoning Ordinance Section 300.01. Pace 2providing for the administration of this ordinance and amendments to it, defining the powers and duties imposed by this ordinance and prescribing penalties for violation of its provisions. <br />SUBDIVISION 3. SCOPE. From and after the effective <br />date of this ordinance, the use of all land and all <br />buildings erected, aJtered, enlarged or relocated and every <br />jjse accessory thereto shall be in conformance with the <br />provisions of this ordinance. Any existing use or <br />building, lot or development which was legally established <br />but is not in conformance with the provisions of this <br />ordinance shall be regarded as non-conforming and may <br />continue in existence only for sucn period of time and <br />under such conditions as is provided for in section 300.29 <br />of this ordinance. <br />SUBDIVISION 4.INTERPRETATION AND APPLICATION. <br />a)The pro'^isions of this ordinance shall be minimum <br />requirements. Where the conditions imposed by any <br />provision of this ordinance differ from those required <br />by any statute or other ordinance of the city, the <br />regulations which are more restrictive or which impose <br />the higher standard shall prevail except provisions of <br />the subdivision ordinance as codified in the 1932 code <br />of ordinances shall not supercede provisions of this <br />ordinance. <br />Words or terms defined in this ordinance shall have the <br />meanings assigned to them unless such meaning is <br />clearly cont ary to the intent of this o; linance. The <br />singular number shall include the plural. The present <br />tense shall include the past and future tenses. The <br />word "shall" is mandatory and "may" is permissive. <br />SUBDIVISION 5.OFFICIAL ZONING MAP. <br />a) The location and boundaries of the zoning districts <br />established by this ordinance shall be known and may be <br />referred to as the "Minnetonka official zoning map". <br />The map and all notations, references and data shown on <br />it are incorporated by reference into this ordinance <br />and shall be'as much a'part of this ordinance as if it <br />were fully described herein.
