Present an initial draft of Shoreland Regulations to Council <br />for information purposes only at this point. <br />2. Present to Council the funding request sent to DNR. <br />3. Present Letter sent to LMCD regarding marinas. <br />INITIAL SHORELAND DRAFT <br />As noted in Attachment A the City has developed an initial draft <br />regulation at staff level which it will review with John Shardlow <br />and then undertake meetings with Planning Commission and Council <br />as outlined in Attachment C. The draft Resolution (Attachment A) <br />illustrates with an afterisk those which currently represent <br />changes from the present ordinance. Staff is currently preparing <br />a comparison of these proposals, not only with existing Orono <br />regulations but also DNR regulations and LMCD's regulations <br />together with alternatives to the proposed regulations. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />Draft regulations - <br />1. Make any comments <br />2. Table for further discussion. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that Council accept the <br />information regarding shoreland regulations <br />eoi Jeanne A.
