Bernhardson, City Administrato <br />/ <br />DATS: February 11# .i91 <br />SOBJBCT: Policy Board Material Preparation <br />C/yy <br />ISSUE - Present to Council the proposal for presenting materials <br />to the Council. <br />INTRODUCTION - At the Council's special meeting of January^7# <br />1991 it was requested that staff review its process for <br />presentation of meeting materials to Council so that the agenda <br />packet Is delivered earlier than the current â– Thursday/Friday <br />timeframe. <br />DISCUSSION - Staff has reviewed its entire process ^d <br />it can revamp its process so that the agenda items can be <br />presented to Council by Wednesday night prior to the Council <br />VoiliVot ti <br />Council. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />» <br />1. Accept the information. <br />2. Indicate any changes-desired. <br />3. Table for further discussion. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that Council accept the <br />Information anT allow staff to work under the schedule to see its <br />feasibility. At that time staff will explore if this move up is <br />a benefit to Council or if further move up is amenable. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by __# seconded by # Council accept the <br />information regarding policy board material preparation.
