I* t <br />2591.2 <br />^ w '-i U <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />INITIAL COMPENSATION OUTLINE <br />CHIEF OF POLICE <br />SALARY <br />Present range per 1991 Compensation Plan <br />21.761 - 25.061 (45,262 - 53,250.08) <br />In addition the Chief receives up to a 5% incentive <br />based on cities with whom contract police services are <br />provided, broken down as follows: <br />2% » Long Lake <br />2% - Spring Park <br />1% •• Minnetonka Beach <br />This raises the maximum range to (47,525.10 - 55,912} <br />RELATED BENEFITS <br />The City provides for single coveraga of: <br />Health <br />Life Insurance ($_____) <br />It will pay up to $231.00/month in 1991 for family <br />coverage plus single life insurance on the employee. <br />FLEXIBLE BENEFITS PLAN <br />The City does offer a flexible benefit plan under IRS <br />Section 125 which includes as pre tax Day Care, Medical <br />Benefits Plan and Health Premiums as outlined in the <br />plan. <br />VACATION <br />This will be a function of negotiation with the <br />successful candidate. <br />SICK LEAVE <br />This is 1 day/month. A maximum of 960 hours is an <br />allowed accrual with anything over that going into a <br />catastrophic sick leave bank of up to 320 hours. <br />The successful candidate will be given a credit of 320 <br />hours sick leave. <br />Credit for 1/3 of sick leave after 3 years will only be <br />for the amounts of sick leave over that initial 320 <br />hours.
