Kari and Bayron Calderon <br />888 Dakota Ave. <br />Orono, MN 55356 <br />612-289-0565 <br />May 19, 2024 <br />To whom it may concern on the planning commission, <br />We are Kari and Bayron and we live at 888 Dakota Avenue, the property adjacent to <br />884 Dakota Avenue. We are writing in support of the variance request submitted by <br />Franklin Michael and Kasey Jones. Most importantly, we would be the neighbors <br />closest to the new structure. The property owner, Frank, has talked with us about his <br />plans to build a detached garage to replace the resin sheds that currently occupy that <br />area of the property. He has shown us the survey of his property and the proposed <br />building site. He has shown us how close the structure would be to the property line <br />and asked us about any concerns we might have. In addition he has shown us the <br />plans for the new garage to be built.
