The City was notified of the work by an <br />anonymous phone caller, and a stop work order was <br />immediately posted. <br />2.The newly constructed deck is in approximately the same <br />configuration and location as the previous deck. The most <br />reliable documentation we have of the previous deck is in <br />thn Assessor's records. Although for aesthetic purposes the <br />deCiv < rrners have been angled, it is staff's opinion that <br />the ner# deck has not increased hardcover on the property <br />beyond that which previously existed. <br />3.A variance was granted in 1981 that allowed 3,222 s.f. <br />(15.lt) hardcover in the 0-75' zone. As indicated on the <br />survey, most of the property and all of the existing house <br />and deck are in the 0-75' zone. Per the hardcover <br />calculations by applicants' surveyor, existing 0-75' <br />hardcover currently is 3233 s.f., within 11 s.f. of the <br />amount previously approved for this property. <br />■frfiiiiHitefi
