Motion carried. <br />and Hanson, Mav, Cohen <br />#1611 BRUCE a CAMILLE CURTISS <br />1920 FAGERNESS POINT ROAD <br />after-the-fact VARIANCES <br />Mr. Jeff Mohr was present <br />applicants. <br />reoresentative for the <br />Kelley opened the Public Hearing at 7:23 p.m. and asked <br />Staff to make a brief presentation. <br />Gaffron summarized the information in his January 16, 1991 <br />memo, noting that records seem to indicate that t.ne existing deck <br />is approximately the same size and dimension as the pre-existing <br />deck. <br />Hanson questioned’whether the footings have been determined <br />to be adequate. <br />Gaffron replied, "The City Building Inspector would review <br />that as part of the building permit process <br />There were no public comments and at 7:25 p.m. Kelley closed <br />the Public Hearing. <br />It was moved by Hanson, seconded by Kelley, to recommend <br />approval of the after-the-fact Variance for hardcover in the <br />0-75’ zone, conditioned on confirmation from the Building <br />Inspector that the footings are adequate, and payment of a double <br />fee. Cohen suggested to Mr. Mohr that he relate to Mr. and Mrs. <br />Curtiss the Planning Commission's dismay of the manner in which <br />deck constructio'’! was handled. .Motion, Ayes-5, Bellows, Nay. <br />Notion carried. Eellows indicated that there have been past <br />incidences involving this property a.nd that the applicants' <br />actions were blatant and should not be rewarded.
