Kramer Letter Received 12/31/90 <br />Draft Letter to be Sent to Prospective <br />Applicants <br />ISSUE - Presentation to Council of applications received by <br />persons interested in the Council position. <br />INTRODUCTION - As of December 31, 1990, the deadline established <br />the applications, the City has received 8for closing <br />applications. <br />DISCUSSION - As noted in the letter, interviews had been <br />established prior at the Coucil's November 26, 1990 meeting, <br />interviews have tentatively been set for January 28, 1991 with <br />tentative consideration for appointment at the February 12, 1991 <br />meeting. <br />ALTERNATIVES - <br />1. Accept the information. <br />2. Give any further direction regarding the application process. <br />3. Table for further consideration until the January 28, 1991 <br />Council meeting. <br />RECOMMENDATION - After accepting the information presented <br />together with giving any direction in regard to the process, it <br />is recommended that the Council table further consideration of <br />this matter until the January 28, 1991 meeting at which time <br />Council will interview interested applicants as part of that <br />agenda and if so desired make the appointment either later that <br />evening or at the February 11, 1991 meeting. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by seconded by that Council <br />accepts the information and directs tabling the matter until <br />January 28, 1991 when Council will interview applicants <br />interested in the Council position.
