Bernhardson, City Administratoim 'cr <br />January 22, 1991 <br />Subject: Facilities Workshop <br />JAN 2 8 1991 <br />CI1Y OF ORONO <br />ATTACHMENT - <br />A - City Facilities dated 10/30/90 <br />ISSUE - Determine when Council would desire to have a workshop on <br />City facilities. <br />INTRODUCTION - At the Council's 11/13/90 meeting, it was <br />determined that before further work be done on the facilities <br />that a workshop be held. Subsequent to that, it was felt that <br />this workshop could include all Council members so that it was <br />delayed until an appointment of the fifth Council member and <br />because of vacation plans delayed until the early part of March. <br />Dates for which a workshop could be held are as follows: <br />5 Tuesday Evening <br />6 Wednesday Evening <br />7 Thursday Evening <br />9 Saturday Morning <br />13 Wednesday Evening <br />14 Thursday Evening <br />16 Saturday Morning <br />It is anticipated that this workshop would undertake the <br />following: <br />A. Review issues and comments to date; <br />B. Determine future direction; <br />C. Determine role if any ongoing for the Citizen's <br />Committee. <br />It is anticipated that this workshop would be held in a <br />larger facility, such as the Orono High School Cafeteria or the <br />Fresh Water Biological Institute. The basis for the workshop <br />would be the Municipal Facilities Study book that was presented <br />to Council as part of the stategic development. Should Council <br />desire additional information apart from what is in there, it is <br />requested that that specific request be given to staff for <br />information development prior to March 1st. <br />.. .. <br />IVitiki/i
