<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />A Phased Approach to a Workplace Culture Assessment <br /> <br />Phase 1: <br />A climate assessment involves conducting assessment interviews with the identified participants (e.g., <br />organization, department, or workgroup). The feedback themes and recommendations (phase 2) are <br />outlined in a summary document. After the information is presented to the stakeholders, the consult- <br />ant can assist, as requested, in developing an action plan for addressing the identified themes. <br />Specific work steps in the assessment process include the following: <br /> <br />• Conduct individual interviews with the identified personnel (staff and management personnel) <br />• Compile and assess interview feedback and outline common themes and primary issues <br />• Develop a summary of themes based on feedback and interview results <br />• Work with identified stakeholders (e.g. Administrator, Department Head or Director, Supervisor, <br />and/or Human Resources Director) to develop an action plan <br />• Share the themes with management personnel and discuss tentative next steps <br />• In a separate session, share the assessment themes and discuss the next steps with the staff partici- <br />pants <br /> <br />Estimated Fees for Phase 1: <br />13 Individual interviews (approximately 60 minutes) = $3,295.00 <br />*It should be noted that some interviews may NOT take the whole time, which will impact the fee for direct <br />service <br />4 Staff Group Interview Sessions (1-1.5 hours) = $1,500.00 <br />Review session with identified management or stakeholders (1-2 hours) = $590.00 <br />Review session with management interview participants (1-2 hours) = $590.00 <br />Review session with staff groups (estimate for four groups at 1 hour per session) = $1,000.00 <br /> <br />Documentation Services <br />Notes compilation and document preparation (8-12 hours) = $ 1,200.00 <br /> <br />Travel <br />Travel time RT to Orono, MN (2 hours) = $150.00 ($75.00 per hour) * Dependent on the number of trips to <br />Orono, MN <br /> <br />Phase 2: <br />Additional Services (optional) <br />Fees are to be determined based on an identified action plan (per recommendations) <br />• Staff or team development/training <br />• Facilitated dispute resolution session(s) <br />• Leadership coaching and consultation <br />• Employee professional development session(s) <br />• Work sessions with management personnel <br />• Customized training(s) <br />• Post Investigation Support <br />• Performance management development and implementation <br />• Changement management and implementation <br />• Referral for additional services (as needed) <br /> (e.g., employee assistance program, specific training and development needs, etc.) <br /> <br />Continue to work with management personnel/stakeholders to: <br />* Identify future needs and or strategic intent <br />* Define ongoing objectives <br />66
