�r �.o� <br /> � C ITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CIT'Y COUNCIL <br /> ��'l,� �,G`�` N o. 6 4 8 6 <br /> kFSHo� <br /> A RESOLUTION <br /> GRANTING VARIANCES <br /> FROM ORONO MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> SECTION 78-420 <br /> FILE NO. 15-3717 <br /> WHEREAS, Chamberlain Capital LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company, <br /> (hereinafter "Owner") is the owner of the property located at 1340 Fox Street within the City <br /> of Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally described as: Lots 13, 14, and 15, Block 14, <br /> Minnetonka Bluffs, Hennepin County, Minnesota, (hereinafter"the Property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, Paul Cameron, (hereinafter the "Applicant") on behalf of the <br /> Owner, has made application to the City for variances from Orono City Code Section 78-420 <br /> in order to construct a new residence on the Property which has 19,234 square feet or 0.44 <br /> acre in area, and 129 feet in width where 2.0 acres in area and 200 feet in width are <br /> required; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicant has made application to the City for variances from <br /> Orono City Code Section 78-420 to permit construction of a new residence 26.5 feet from <br /> Fox Street; 16.2 feet from Barrett Avenue; and 28.4 feet from the undeveloped alley on the <br /> east side where a 50-foot setback is required; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the Orono, Minnesota, City Code, the Orono Planning Commission <br /> held a public hearing on February 17, 2015, at which times all persons desiring to be heard <br /> concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File#15-3717. <br /> 2. The Property is located in the RR-1 B zoning district, where 2.0 acres is the <br /> minimum lot area and 200 feet is the minimum defined lot width. <br /> 3. The Planning Commission reviewed this application on February 17, 2015. <br /> The Planning Commission voted 5 for and 0 against on a motion to approve <br /> the variances for the new home based on the following findings. <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
