Ha <br />Informing tha contractor that they will ba paying for tha wall they <br />erected for tha kannaI/garbage area without Council approval. Ha <br />said that Is a condition of this payment. Ha added, tha contractor <br />had promised to hava ail information submitted on a spread sheet <br />with line items and status of each. <br />It was moved by Butiar, seconded by Jabbour, to authorize Payment <br />99 for City Hail and Public Works Building in tha amount of <br />$438,973.02 as presented in tha memo dated November 5, 1992. Ayes <br />5, nays 0. <br />(923) FUEL STORAGE SYSTEM FOR NEW CITY FACILITIES <br />Moorsa referred to a document listing alternatives suggested by tha <br />fuel system vendor. Ha stated they are reviewing tha alternative <br />of a smaller above-ground tank which would ensure tha capacity on <br />site whan needed. Ha said tha size of these tanks would not allow <br />for tha volume discount as with a larger tank. <br />Jabbour stated with that volume discount the City would not be <br />saving money. <br />Qoattan asked how tha Council can be sure this is what is needed <br />and all costs are included. <br />Moorsa stated he would continue to discuss with tha vendor the <br />options aval I able. <br />Jabbour asked what costs the City will incur for cancelling the <br />under-ground tanks. <br />Moorse stated that *^st is not yet known, but felt it may not be <br />a substantial amoun . <br />Jabbour understood the City may be in a position not to incur <br />restocking charge, which may reduce that canceling cost even more. <br />Goatten asked what insurance is needed with Alternative 93. <br />Moorse stated it would be standard property insurance. <br />Butler asked the amount of gas the City currently uses annually. <br />A: <br />^0i <br />iKi <br />l"'' <br />i-r’^ .mm <br />mm <br />.... ^w <br />ipif <br />I <br />mmrn <br />emi^m <br />ammm <br />>&
