���0 <br /> C ITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ��1,� �,G~ N o. 6 4 � 9 <br /> kssxo� <br /> A RESOLUTION TO CERTIFY RESULTS OF THE <br /> TUESDAY,NOVEMBER 4, 2014 <br /> GENERAL ELECTION <br /> FOR CITY OF ORONO OFFICES <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono held an election for the office of Mayor and two Council <br /> Members and one Council Member to fill a vacancy in term expiring January 2, 2017 on <br /> Tuesday,November 4, 2014, during the General Election with 3,724 persons voting, which <br /> includes 609 accepted absentee votes. <br /> WHEREAS, on this 10`h day of November, 2014 the Orono City Council Canvassing <br /> Board has met to canvass said election results; and <br /> WHEREAS, the votes tabulated at said election were: <br /> Mavor Votes Council Member Votes Council Member Votes <br /> Special Election <br /> Lili McMillan 2,51 S Dennis Walsh 1,41 S Jim Cornick Jn 2,106 <br /> Write In 84 Aaron Printup 1,302 Write-In 34 <br /> Denise Leskinen 1,030 <br /> Mark McCutcheon 748 <br /> Write-In 39 <br /> THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Orono City Council Canvassing Board to <br /> declare Lili McMillan as Mayor for a 2-year term beginning on January 5, 2015; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Orono City Council Canvassing Board to <br /> declare Dennis Walsh and Aaron Printup as Council Members for 4-year terms beginning on <br /> January 5, 2015. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Orono City Council Canvassing Board to <br /> declare Jim Cornick Jr as a Council Member for the Special Election for the remaining 2-year <br /> term beginning on November 18, 2014. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
