<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />NO. 7466 <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING THE PLAT OF <br />CUMBERLAND <br /> <br />FILE NO. LA24-000004 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono (hereinafter the “City”) is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter “City Council”) has <br />adopted subdivision and land development regulations for the orderly, economic and safe <br />development of land within the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Thomas J. Ryan (hereinafter the “Developer”) is the owner of the <br />property addressed 2245 Watertown Road which includes the following: PIDs 34-118-23-33-0056, <br />03-117-23-22-0001, 03-117-23-22-0002, 03-117-23-22-0022, and 03-117-23-22-0021 legally <br />described as: <br />Attached as Exhibit A (hereinafter the “Property”); <br /> <br /> WHEREAS on October 24, 2022, the Developer applied for Preliminary Plat <br />approval to combine and plat the Property into two buildable lots. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its regular meeting on November 13, 2023, the Orono City <br />Council granted approval for the Preliminary Plat per the findings and conditions of Resolution <br />No. 7425 by a 4 to 0 vote; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on January 1, 2024, the Developer applied for final plat approval for <br />the Property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Developer has agreed to comply with all conditions of Resolution <br />No. 7425 and has completed or has agreed to complete all other requirements of the platting <br />regulations of the City. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, based upon the findings of Resolution <br />No. 7425, the Orono City Council of the City of Orono does hereby approve the plat of <br />CUMBERLAND, Hennepin County, Minnesota (a copy of which is attached as Exhibit B), <br />subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />A1. Development within CUMBERLAND is subject to the Conclusions, Orders, and Conditions <br />enumerated within Preliminary Plat Resolution No. 7425. <br /> <br />120
