Zoning File #1763 <br />September 18, 1992 <br />Page 2 <br />3.Silt fence needs to immediately be installed along the southwest <br />perimeter. <br />4. Existing utility lines should be shown on the survey. <br />Staff conceptually agrees with the intent and nature of the proposed <br />grading. Applicant has advised that the steeper slopes are necessary to <br />control the distance golf balls will roll as they reach the perimeter of <br />the driving range. The berms will provide a safety factor as well as <br />function to confine the driving range activity. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Based on the above information, staff recommends as follows; <br />1. Approval of the conditional use permit for 9,300 cubic yards of <br />earth movement, plus an additional 1,000 yards of imported top <br />soil. <br />2. Adherence to City Engineer's recommendation. <br />^ r ^ <br />V. <br />Payment of after-the-fact investigation fee for the CUP <br />application in the amount of $200.00, plus double fee on the <br />actual land alteration permit. <br />4.Prior -to—Counci I--a^pi'ov a 1-, surveyor to define on the site and in <br />the drawing the City boundary between Orono and Wayzata within <br />the project area^'-^ ;2-'^2-. <br />5.This application will be presented for Council action at their <br />September 28th meeting in order to avoid potential sod <br />reestabl. shment problems due to impending cold weather. <br />4'. » M-r'V :/rp'O - \
