The intent is <br />to provide berming around the south and east perimeter of the driving <br />range to protect golfers on the adjacent fair''*‘^vs. <br />As noted in the September 18th memo, the work was commenced prior <br />to City approval. A stop order was issued and the grading contractor <br />has pulled off the site temporarily. <br />Planning Commission Reconmiendation <br />On a vote of 6-0 (Chairman Kelley abstained because he is a <br />Woodhill member). Planning Commission recommended approval of the <br />proposal, subject to conforming with the City Engineer's <br />recommendations regarding erosion control and the site utility plan. <br />Planning Commission further recommended that the survey work to define <br />the boundary between Wayzata and Orono does not need to be completed <br />immediately but should be submitted by the end of the year. (See <br />9/24/92 Notice, Exhibit C) <br />Staff has requested an erosion control plan which applicant's <br />surveyor will be submitting prior to Monday night's meeting. It <br />should be noted that c5 It fencing has been provided in the area of the <br />culvert inlet to prevent seuimc’^t problems downstream. <br />This item was brought directly to Council for action due to <br />weather constraints and the need to complete this project in order to <br />re-establish sod this fall.
