Absent** Voting <br />Absentee ballots are available 30 days prior to the <br />election. If you wish to vote absentee^ you may do so in City <br />Hall during regular business hours* 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.* Monday <br />through Friday. City Hall will also be open for voting on <br />Saturday, October 31st from 1 to 3 p.m, and Monday, November 2nd <br />until 7 p.m. If you wish to vote absentee by mail, you need to <br />request an absentee ballot application. Simply call the City <br />Cleric at 473-7357. You will be mailed an absentee ballot <br />application. Upon its return, a ballot will be sent, to you. <br />Absent** ballots must arrive at City Hall on election day, <br />November 3rd, to be counted. <br />Election dodges <br />If you are interested in being a judge on election day« <br />please call City Hall. A paid training session will be held <br />prior to the election. Election judges are currently paid $5.00 <br />per hour. An individual who is selected to serve an an election <br />judge may, after giving an employwr at least 20 days* written <br />notice, be absent from a place of work foe the purpose of serving <br />as an election judge without penalty. An employer may reduce the <br />salary or vagea of an employee serving as an election judge by <br />the amount paid to the election judgw the appointing authority <br />during the time the employee was absent from the place of <br />employment. <br />■p:
